Even though it's just MDF, the texture on the adobe walls looks surprisingly realistic once you add a little paint. I bought it for a Mexican Revolution layout and the roof panels slotted together without needing any glue. Exactly the gritty feel I was hoping for.

The roof panels fit together surprisingly well for an MDF kit, and the overall footprint is perfect for a dusty border town layout. I've got it staged next to a sagebrush flat and it instantly sets the 19th-century Mexican vibe.

The window frames are crisp and the roof tiles sit perfectly flat—no warping at all. I’m using it for a Mexican Revolution diorama and it fits right in. Solid little kit for the price.
