9x9 Skirmish Tray for 50x50mm bases

I was worried about getting the right frame height for my 50mm bases, but the MDF top and bottom sandwich design made it super easy to align them. The cutouts are spaced just far enough apart to avoid any accidental contact during gameplay.

The spacing between each cutout is exactly the 1/2" I needed, and my 50mm bases slot in snug without any wobble. The frame height matches my bases perfectly, so the whole unit sits flat on the table. Assembly took maybe ten minutes with some wood glue, and it feels solid enough for regular games.

I was worried the 1/4" trim might be too tight, but my 50mm bases slide in perfectly and stay put during movement. The frame height I chose clears the base edges just right without any wobble.
