9x9 Skirmish Tray for 40x40mm bases

I was worried the MDF might feel flimsy, but the upper frame and lower base fit together solidly. The 1/4 inch trim keeps my 40mm bases perfectly contained during transport.

The cutouts sit exactly 12.7mm apart, so my 40mm bases line up perfectly without any fiddling, and the 1/4" trim keeps the whole unit from feeling flimsy. Assembly took me maybe two minutes, and the MDF edges are smooth enough that I didn’t need to sand anything. Solid tray for herding a skirmish sq

The spacing between cutouts is generous enough that my units don’t look crammed, and the 1/4" trim keeps the whole tray feeling solid when I pick it up. Assembling it took maybe five minutes, and the MDF layers sit flush without any wobble.
