The upper frame snaps onto the base with a satisfying click, and my 40mm round minis fit snugly without any wobble. I was worried about the MDF warping, but it's held up fine after a few games. Exactly what I needed to rank up my troops quickly.

The lower base is solid and holds the frame snugly without any wobble. I have a dozen of these now and they all stack perfectly in ranked formations.

Fitting my round bases into the upper frame was worry-free, and the lower base keeps everything aligned in ranked formation without any wobble. The two-piece MDF design feels sturdier than the plastic trays I've tried before, and the height option I picked matches my bases perfectly.
