8x1 Skirmish Tray for 40x40mm bases

I was worried about getting the frame height right for my 40mm bases, but the 12.7mm spacing between cutouts keeps them perfectly aligned. It’s sturdy enough that I can pick up the whole tray without any wobble.

The magnets are strong enough to hold the unit together during transport, and the 1/2 inch spacing between each cutout makes inserting and removing models a breeze.

Finally got around to using this skirmish tray and the 12.7mm spacing is perfect for keeping my 40mm base units neatly aligned during a game. The MDF feels sturdy enough for repeated use, and the 1/4" trim around each cutout gives just enough lip to hold the bases securely without being hard to lift
