The two-piece design is clever—the upper frame snaps over my round bases and locks them in place, so nothing wobbles when I’m moving the unit across the table. I got the 8mm frame height and it sits flush with the base edge, which looks clean in a ranked line.

The height options for the frame make it easy to match whatever base thickness you're using, and the MDF feels sturdy enough for repeated gaming. I set mine up in about ten minutes and the models sit flush in the ranks, no wobble at all.

The lower base and upper frame sandwich my magnets perfectly, so models stay put even when I tilt the tray during movement. Assembly took maybe two minutes per tray and the MDF feels sturdy enough for repeated tournament use.
