The lower base adds just the right heft so the whole unit feels stable when I pick it up, and the two-piece design means I can swap frame heights later if I rebase. Assembly took me under five minutes with wood glue, and my round bases sit flush against the MDF edges in ranked formation.

Finally, a tray that doesn't have me fiddling with magnets every game—the two-piece MDF design locks my rounds in place even when I'm sliding the unit across a crowded table. The 11x9 layout is exactly right for a horde unit, and the frame height matches my bases flush so nothing looks janky.

The upper frame fits my 25mm bases perfectly, no wobble at all. I was worried about the MDF warping, but the base is nice and flat. Really solid way to move a big block of infantry quickly.
