The 1/4-inch frame on this tray gives my cavalry a snug, secure fit without any wobble during transport. I was pleasantly surprised how crisp the MDF cut is, requiring almost no sanding before assembly. This will save me hours of magnetizing individual bases.

The 1/4" frame height is exactly what I needed to keep my cavalry models stable while moving them across the table, and the MDF layers fit together tightly with no wobble. Assembly took me about five minutes with wood glue, and the tray feels solid even when carrying a full unit.

I assembled this tray for my heavy cavalry units last night, and the MDF is sturdy enough to hold them securely during transport. The separate upper frame and base design made it easier to align the models than I expected. Only wish the wood came pre-sanded for a smoother finish.
